Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Sepehr project handles personal data on sepehr.app, through the early-access form, and through the Sepehr alerts bot on Telegram, which app.sepehr.app links to. A separate, more complete policy will cover the protocol itself once it launches.

The Sepehr project is currently operated as an individual pre-launch initiative based in Europe. A formal legal structure will be established before any paid service launches, and this policy will be updated to reflect it.

On sepehr.app, only the email address you submit through the early-access form. Nothing else — no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.

If you use the alerts bot on Telegram: the identifier of your Telegram chat, the wallet addresses you ask it to follow (five at most), and the language of your Telegram app. Wallet addresses and their positions are public on the blockchain; the bot links them to your chat only to send you alerts. It never asks for a signature, a private key, or access to your funds.

Standard server request logs from our hosting provider (Vercel) may record IP addresses for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. These logs are retained by Vercel according to their own retention policy (typically up to 30 days) and are not accessed or aggregated by us for profiling purposes.

To send you, and only when there is something concrete to share:

• progress updates on Sepehr,
• notification when the testnet preview opens,
• notification when mainnet launches,
• occasional announcements (security disclosures, grants, partnerships).

Through the alerts bot, to send you the alerts you asked for about the wallets you follow: a position nearing its rescue threshold, a rescue, a protection that stopped working, a plan about to end.

That is the only use. Your address is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.

Explicit consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You give consent by submitting the form, or by starting the alerts bot and choosing a wallet to follow. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to privacy@sepehr.app, or, for the alerts, by sending /stop to the bot.

• The Sepehr project team — kept to the minimum necessary.
• Web3Forms (web3forms.com), the form-handling service that receives the submission and forwards it to our inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf.
• Hetzner Online GmbH, which hosts the server running the alerts bot in Nuremberg, Germany, as a data processor on our behalf.
• Telegram, which carries the messages between you and the bot under its own privacy policy.

• Until you ask for deletion, or until two years after your last interaction with us, whichever comes first.
• Submissions stored on Web3Forms are deleted automatically after 30 days under their retention policy.
• Alerts data, while you follow at least one wallet. Sending /stop to the bot, or blocking it, deletes your chat identifier and the wallets it followed at once.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you,
• rectify inaccurate data,
• request deletion (right to erasure),
• object to processing,
• request portability of your data,
• lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@sepehr.app. We respond within 30 days.

• Web3Forms operates from the United States. Their privacy policy governs their handling of data they process on our behalf.
• Vercel, the hosting provider for sepehr.app, also operates from the United States. Their privacy policy covers their handling of request logs and infrastructure data.
• Telegram carries the alerts across its own infrastructure, in and outside the EU. Its privacy policy governs the messages it handles. The data the bot keeps stays on its server in Germany.

This policy may evolve as the project formalizes its legal structure and prepares for launch. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date.
